The Challenger has a 38-inch opening that handles trees, posts, and stumps of most common sizes. The 1-inch thick AR400 steel jaws grip large objects securely, and the 3.5" x 8" hydraulic cylinder generates over 33,000 pounds of pulling force.
The 1/2-inch AR400 steel root rippers dig into compacted soil around the base of a tree or post to break the root system before pulling. They're removable, so you can take them off when you don't need them.
The Grapple Guard version adds cab protection for the operator when pulling taller trees that could fall toward the machine. If you're pulling large trees regularly, the grapple guard is worth it.
The standard version uses a 14-pin universal quick-attach. The Bobcat version uses a 7-pin connection. Select the correct option for your machine at checkout.
