If you are clearing brush, picking rock, or pulling roots, a plain bucket fights you the whole way. Material rolls out, roots drag, and you make three passes where one should do it. The EZ Grapple Bucket gives you a jaw that clamps down on the load so you can scoop, grip, and carry in a single motion. It is built for contractors who spend real hours in site prep, land clearing, and cleanup, not for the occasional weekend job.

This is a grapple you load heavy and keep running. The 50" opening swallows stumps, root balls, and brush piles, and the AR400 steel construction takes the abuse without bending or cracking.

Specs and hydraulic requirements

The EZ Grapple Bucket runs off your machine's standard auxiliary hydraulics, so most skid steers and compact track loaders drive it without any high-flow upgrade. Build details:

  • Frame and tines: high-strength AR400 steel; upper and lower tines are 1/2" thick
  • Opening: 50" to grab large objects in one bite
  • Hydraulics: 2.5" x 8" welded cylinders with guarded rods to protect against jobsite damage
  • Widths and weight: 72" (9 tines, 960 lbs), 81" (10 tines, 1,030 lbs), 90" (11 tines, 1,060 lbs)
  • Tine spacing: 9" standard, with an optional 4" lower spacing for holding smaller debris
  • Finish: abrasive blasted and powder coated to resist wear and corrosion
  • Optional: add a hydraulic hose saver to protect your lines during heavy use

Match the width to your machine. If you run a smaller skid steer, the 72" keeps you balanced; larger machines carry the 90" and move more per pass.

Does it fit your machine?

The EZ Grapple Bucket uses universal quick attach, so it drops onto your Bobcat, John Deere, Kubota, Cat, Takeuchi, New Holland, Case, Gehl, or ASV without adapters or modifications. If your loader takes a standard skid steer mount plate, this grapple connects to it. The only thing to check is your hydraulic flow rating and your coupler type, and the included flat-faced couplers match what most machines already run.

EZ Grapple Bucket vs a rock bucket or root grapple

A rock bucket with no top clamp lets material spill the second you tip or travel. The EZ Grapple's hydraulic jaw holds the load against the tines, so you keep brush, rock, and roots in the bucket from pickup to dump. Compared to a root grapple with open tines on both jaws, the EZ Grapple's solid lower bucket floor lets you scoop loose material, soil, and smaller debris that an open root grapple would drop. If your work is mostly moving and sorting mixed debris, this is the more versatile tool. If you only ever pull standing trees and root balls, look at the Dominator grapple instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

A grapple uses open tines to grab and hold material. It grips but doesn't carry loose fill. A grapple bucket combines a solid bucket floor with a grapple on top, letting you both carry loose material like a bucket and grab irregular loads like a grapple. The right choice depends on whether you're moving bulk material or handling debris.

Most grapples use your machine's standard auxiliary hydraulics to open and close. No high-flow requirement. Check the product page for any model-specific flow notes.

On the EZ Grapple Bucket, you can choose 4-inch or 9-inch tine spacing. Narrower spacing (4-inch) catches smaller debris. Wider spacing (9-inch) is better for larger brush, logs, and bulkier material.

Yes. All SSN grapple attachments use a standard universal quick-attach plate compatible with most major skid steer brands.
